HRSA Issues Presolicitation

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) plans to issue an RFP to develop the “Patient-Centered Medical-Health Home” (PCMHH) initiative. This initiative will help the Health Center Program promote the medical home to help the millions of underserved people have access to comprehensive, culturally competent, and quality primary healthcare services. HRSA anticipates that the period of performance will not exceed a five year period.

The purpose for the RFP entitled “Patient-Centered Medical Health Home Initiative” is to support health center efforts to undergo rigorous and comprehensive survey processes and be able to demonstrate the highest standards of healthcare quality. The RFP document will be available at www.fbo.gov and the solicitation HRS36648 will be posted on or about July 23, 2010 with a projected closing date to be on or about August 23, 2010.
